Hi my name is John Anfinson and welcome to my information page.
I would classify myself as a photo enthusiast. I love to take photos of many things. My favorite thing is of "mother nature". With all the wild animals, beautiful sunsets, and vast landscapes around what could be more enjoyable?
My career actually started out many years ago in 4-H. This is where I first learned about taking pictures and did not do too bad for myself. I took numerous local and state 2nd, 1st, and Grand Championship ribbons home over my life.
Now my camera goes everywhere I go. It seems that no matter where you go there is always a good photo opportunity. I find that out of no-where comes some of the best pictures that I have taken. They are not always the type of picture that you can set up for, they are the type of pictures that are created by the moment.
Most of my work has gone digital now. It is rarely that I even use my standard 35 MM camera any more. I like my digital camera because it is fast, accurate, and I can see if something went wrong with the shot right away without buying a lot of extra equipment to do such a thing.
